It’s really green and fresh here in Minnesota.
After some rain, everything is looking fresh and very alive!
I was saying to Hale yesterday, that the contrasts we have here in the Midwest, provide so much appreciation for each new season.
I love the freshness of spring. It provides hope of new things to come. A month or so ago, the same yard appeared dark and dead, when really it was preparing for a new season.
How often in our lives do we think things are not changing or they’re remaining the same? When really with a bit of trust and faith, things we want to happen all of a sudden do. Very similar to the bright green freshness I am experiencing here in Minnesota.
Things change overnight.
We as humans can go through a range of emotions on a regular basis. The trick is to be aware of this and to hold the visions and thoughts of all we hope for and wish to happen close to our hearts, and let go of trying to force anything to happen. We take the actions necessary and let go.
Forcing just causes resistance and resistance will keep anything we want or hope for, far away from our present moments.
You can’t force a plant or flower to grow can you? It happens with the warmth of the sun and the nurturing of the rains. This can be compared to your being patient, trusting and letting go, and then all of a sudden the things you have been hoping for, thinking about, have come to pass.
Life holds all kinds of promises for each of us. We just need to get out of our own way!
What can you do today to get out of your own way? Slow down, take deep breaths and just look around and appreciate the things you have, the beauty of the season perhaps? Consciously create time just for you, to do things you enjoy? How long has it been since you simply sat and just enjoyed your moment?
Leave me a comment about your thoughts on all of this!
With many blessings,
