Do you have acceptance for different types of people?
We are all created the same in some respects and we are all very different.
I begin my teachings of my 10 favorite Universal Laws with the Law of Divine Oneness.
We are all connected to each other. We are all connected to God, the Universe, Spirit, Source.
As we co-exist equally and collectively in the spiritual world, we are all composed of the the same energetic foundation.
All of us have found ways to separate ourselves with defining labels, using our unique gifts we each have.
Collectively we are all a group of spiritual beings who are having a human experience.
Being human allows us to have our different strengths, so we can be of service to others.
What happens though when people of different religions, color, sexual preference, or political parties come together?
As you know, you have seen the judgments come out in each of these different scenarios.
Our young nation alone has been through many different prejudices over the years. Beginning with our mistreatment of Native Americans and African Americans.
Now we see it within our political parties, toward the LGBT portion of our society, people who have a different color of skin than our own, or a different religion, and the list goes on.
We were all raised differently within our families’ values or lack there of and have been affected also by our teachers, religious leaders, and our peers.
I encourage you go back to this very important Universal Law of Divine Oneness often.
I know it can be hard to look at someone we appear to have nothing in common with and don’t like at all, and believe that we could possibly be connected to them.
Yet the only way someone can be in your life is if there is an energetic connection. This connection serves the purpose of healing, awareness, reflection and personal growth.
I’m not quite sure that this applies with the type of person that went into the high school in Florida this past week. This horrific happening isn’t something I can even begin to understand.
External realities can certainly enforce the belief we are separate. Yet the Law of Divine Oneness is the conscious remembrance that we are a collective family of humanity, united and spiritually supported equally.
When you meet someone who seems to be living in a way that is opposite of you and your values, I challenge you to stop and remember this Law. We need much more kindness and compassion in our world.
As you learn to not judge others because they are not living in the ways you do, you will begin to open your heart and mind, allowing you to live a life of joy, compassion, support, gratitude and appreciation of one another as we walk our separate paths.
This Law serves to return us to a place of loving, accepting and enjoying each other as a family from the same Source.
In this world, war and peace are contagious. We all affect each other and our thoughts, attitudes and behaviors are part of how our individual worlds are playing out, and how the vibration of this planet is playing out.
So I ask you, what do you choose to put out to this world? Remember it’s contagious.
Will you leave me a comment or email me with your thoughts? I’d love to hear from you!~
With love and appreciation,
