Welcome to my new web site and my first blog!
Happy, healthy prosperous 2013 to all of you.
I will have a guest blogger each Friday, so check back each Wednesday and each Friday, and pass this along to others in your life who would benefit and enjoy reading our blogs!
January’s theme is getting into a regular exercise program.
It all begins with the end in mind.
By this I mean, anything and everything in life comes from a vision first.
Creating your vision around exercise is where you will begin.
Whether you are new to exercise or someone who has been exercising regularly for many years, this is the time of year to create your vision for yourself.
Ask yourself the questions:
- What ultimately do I want to achieve?
- What is my desired body weight?
- Dress/pant size?
- How do I want to feel?
- Do I want to feel more energy, have more focus, have more strength?
- How many times per week am I willing to exercise?
- Will I join a health club or the “Y”?
- Will I buy exercise videos or check them out at my local library?
- Will I simply commit to walking for 10 min., 15 min. 30 min. per day? If so, can I increase my speed I’m walking regularly?
- Will I hire a personal trainer? Join a group training session?
- If you have been exercising regularly already, what are your new goals for this month/this year? What will you change or add to what you are already doing?
Become very clear on what you want to achieve and why you will make this commitment.
Perhaps get an old photo out of yourself at a weight and fitness level you once had, and would like to have again.
Don’t compare yourself to others!
Then, write down your realistic goals/targets for how many times per week, which days of the week and which hours of the day, will you be exercising?
Writing down our goals holds power and adds more of a certainty we will reach them, than just thinking them in our heads.
Start out slowly if you are new to exercise.
Ask someone in your life, someone who has your best interest in mind, to be an accountability partner to help you each day.
Text them, call them, leave a voicemail, after you have achieved your exercise target for that day!
Share with some of your closest friends or family what your exercise goals/targets are, and ask them to support you in your efforts.
Have them check in with you often to see how it’s all going.
After you have created your new exercise habit, being consistent with it for a month, go back and write down new goals/targets for the next month.
Congratulate yourself each day, each week and each month! Write down positive affirmations on your bathroom mirror or other places you will see often!
Here’s to each of you finding consistency in your exercise program!
Blessings,
Connie

Thanks, Ab!~ I appreciate it, and I love you so much!~
Connie has been my personal/dream coach for the last year in a half, she has given me some wonderful tools to use to help me through difficult times. I am in the process of building my NuSkin business as well as working fulltime as an administrator/Preschool teacher needless to say things can and does get pretty stressful at times. With Connie’s coaching and insight she has helped me to handle everyday stress as well as give me the courage to work and do things out of my comfort zone. The tools that Connie has introduced me do on a daily basis has been such a wonderful experience and I feel that I am a better person all around. Thank you Connie for all that you do and have done to help me! Carol Sido
Thanks, Carol! It’s a pleasure and my honor to coach you! You are an amazing person with so much to give to this world. Keep your light shining! Much love and many blessings to you!~
Im going through that now.
Its a good thing to realize that 3 times a week every week for a year is a huge ammount.
Yes, Chris, consistency is the key! 3 times per week is great! If someone wants to work out more than that, I would suggest to add in more after you are being faithful to the 3 times per week. Congratulations on choosing to exercise!~
