I am finding as I get closer to 60 years on this planet, my mind and heart are still that of a 30 year old!
My daughter just turned 30 this past May and my son is now 32.
Yes, I have changes happening physically that weren’t there at 30 years old, or even 40 or 50. I do many daily personal practices to stay healthy and youthful.
What about you? Are you proactive in taking care of yourself physically, emotionally, spiritually? How about paying attention to your thoughts?
As I have heard many times, “thoughts become things, they become our present moments”. The quickest way to shift our thoughts into positive thoughts, is to find something to appreciate. Stop, slow down and look around you right now. What do you see around you that you appreciate?
I challenge you to do this daily for 21 days. Spend more of your waking moments consciously looking for things to appreciate!
I am a life long student and learner. I love taking classes that help me to become more of the person I was meant to be when I came to this earth over 59 years ago. I began my first personal growth class at age 19, in 1974.
After the first course, I was hooked in this world of personal growth, and becoming more all of the time. I took breaks from consciously growing, and found I really wanted to keep moving forward with my “awakening, raising my awareness” of myself and everyone around me.
I have consciously learned to listen for guidance, and I also have learned to ask God for guidance often. As I go to sleep each night, I thank God for my day and everything I learned and experienced that day, for my family and friends, and my great health and body. I have found as I have added into my nightly prayer, a request for God to give me anything He wants me to know, and to help me to be open to receive it and take action on whatever it may be, things are actually changing in my world.
As I have been boldly making this request of God every night, I have had many experiences and people come into my life that have been there to help me grow and become the person I am meant to be. I love myself, and live in joy more of my present moments all of the time.
I have been aware of answers I get daily about many things, as I tune into my gut feelings and honor each of them. I have become more in alignment with God and I know very quickly if something is right for me. I don’t take time to think about it, I just know.
My daily meditation practice, my daily inspirational readings, prayer and writing in my Gratitude Journal are all things that keep me in this alignment with God and me becoming more and more of who I’m meant to be.
I now coach people about all of this and also reaching dreams they have, breaking them down into manageable steps.
I give people hope.
My wish for you is for you to consciously slow down, listen and ask for guidance, and be open to receive your answers!
With love and blessings,
Connie
